Hawk  Tawk Intro Rubric


Project Instructions:

  • You may work in teams of 2 or by yourself
  • ​Choose your song from the Wheel
  • Download the song from here
  • Start a new Folder and Premiere Project on the D Drive on your computer (Song Intro 1 - (Your Name)
  • Listen to the song and locate a good .3o second segment
  • Layer the .30 segment into your new timeline
  • Brainstorm video concept ideas to go over the song piece
  • Acquire the video you need and load it into your new project - Hint: you can use new view you shoot, downloaded video or file footage (File Footage Folder)
  • ​Begin Editing
EXPORTING
  • Go to Export in the Adobe Premiere File menu (top right)
  • Choose "Export" - "Media"
  • In the new dialogue box that pops up...choose "H.264" as Format and change the blue file name and location to what you want
  • Create a new folder in your Google Drive called Media 1
  • Create a new folder in the Media 1 folder called "Hawk Tawk Intros"
  • Upload your exported Premiere file of the intro to this folder
  • Copy the Link to the file on your Drive, and paste it into the project form on Google Classroom.
  • Submit the assignment.

  • Cinema Verite
Video Source Possibilities
  • Shoot new video or photos with your phone or camera
  • Use the File Footage Folder and download stuff
  • Find video on line and download it​
When You Have Completed Your Intro........
  • Have a peer, as well as Mr. P take a look at it for edits
  • EXPORT your video to a named folder where you can find it
  • Go to your Google Drive, create a folder for MEDIA
  • UPLOAD your video to that Drive folder
  • Copy the LINK to your video in Google Drive
  • SHARE that link with me on the form in Google Classroom
  • Now you have a nice back up for your projects too.
