  • Identify text on the edit timeline.

For EACH project.....


  • Create a new folder on the D-Drive with your full name. Then....create another new folder with the title "Practice 1". 
  • Import ALL your audio, video and graphic assets into the project folder. NEVER store project files on a temp drive.
  • ​Then import or drag the assets AGAIN into Premiere using the Import command.

  • Once you've imported assets into AP, explore the four windows to see which does what by dragging an asset to the timeline.
  • After dragging an asset to the timeline, play with the "handle edit" and the "scissor edit" tool
  • Drag another video asset onto another track in the timeline

  • Acquire audio and video and import into a new folder called You Don't Say
  • Import your assets into AP
  • Make rough edits and begin your timeline.
