Plan Learning Experiences & Instruction

Steps: (Using the WhereTo  structure)
  1. (Where & Hook) Display a completed project to the class, followed by the Adobe Premiere project work screen to show students where they are heading towards creating.  Ask students to identify production dynamics based on former production lessons (Word search game activity)
  2. (Equip) Demonstrate a saved folder structure.
  • Explain the relationship of the folder hierarchy to the project and Adobe controls.
  • Have students create a named folder on their local drive.
  • Suggest sub folders for likely storage needs. (Think Pair Share brainstorming activity)
  • Have students access and download provided digital files and have them story the files in the correct folders.
  • Students import the files into the new project
     3. (Rethink & Revise) Have student fine tune their folder hierarchy after demonstration
     4. (Evaluate) Students will complete an online self assessment using a selected application to
communicate levels of understanding. (Got it - Get it chart)
     5.  (Tailor) Based on student's reports to self evaluation, create customized opportunities for students to
           bridge gaps in understanding.
      6.  (Organize) Students will present their projects to the teacher, and then "pitch" them to the class.
Teacher will facilitate a discussion on hits and misses the students experienced, and the class will
troubleshoot issues in the discussion. The teacher will suggest possible routes for better
understanding and expanded resources and experiences that are available to the class.
