Digital Image

The image below was created from scratch using a combination of images from Envato.com, and AI images generated  in the Adobe Firefly platform. Further description of the process is below.

Although it was not required for this assignment, I wanted to experiment with adding Alt Tags. Using AltTex.ai, I uploaded the image and used the app to add Alt Info. Below is the text and html for the new alt tag.

     This image may just be version one of what I eventually have in mind, but it was a good start to help me visualize the product. One of the first images I hope to use incorporates a "whirlpool" of media-related items, in orbit around two young viewers. The segment this image would help introduce is about the history and development of media technology.  My first thought was that the media items need to be more distinct, but that can be improved. 

     To make this image I started off by locating an image of two young people looking up in excitement. I have a professional membership with Envato.com and it is a treasure trove of resources that can be used with a variety of licenses for usage. I resized and separated the image from a blue background.

     Adobe Firefly was used to create the whirlpool of media images. To give the whirlpool a look of movement, I copied the image and applied a blur filter in Photoshop. That image's opacity was lowered and layered under an identical image in full color. Then the image of the youths was resized and layered under the two whirlpool images. The file was flattened and saved as a PNG file.
